HR Director

We are now looking for an inspiring and business-driven HR Director, who will define and execute the people strategy across all countries where Notino operates. This is a key leadership role with direct impact on our growth, organizational design, employer brand, leadership capability and overall employee experience.


What Will You Do?

Shape the People & Business Strategy

  • Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to co-create and execute Notino’s strategy from a people and organizational perspective.
  • Build and lead the HR strategy for the entire Notino Group (HQ + markets CZ, SK, PL, IT, HR, RO), including strategic priorities, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
  • Translate business plans into talent, organizational and capability needs.
  • Influence and challenge senior stakeholders with strong business insight.

Drive Strategic Workforce Planning & Organizational Design

  • Lead long-term workforce planning across all markets and functions – identifying what roles, skills and capacity we need, where and when.
  • Design effective organizational structures across HQ, distribution centers, retail and local markets to support scalable e-commerce growth.
  • Own major transformation initiatives impacting processes, culture, organization and ways of working.

Build a High-Performing HR Ecosystem

  • Create and continuously refine a unified HR framework for the group: recruitment, performance & goals, talent & succession, L&D, compensation & benefits, engagement and retention.
  • Ensure processes are fast, digital, data-driven and user-friendly for managers and employees.
  • Ensure legal compliance across countries, including relationships with works councils and unions where relevant.

Be a Trusted Partner to the Board & Leaders

  • Act as an advisor and sparring partner for board members, country managers and business leaders.
  • Provide clear recommendations supported by data and business implications.
  • Strengthen leadership capabilities in people management – coaching, feedback, performance, change leadership.

Shape Culture & Employer Brand

  • Co-lead the evolution of Notino’s culture – performance-driven, innovative, customer-centric and built on ownership.
  • Strengthen employer branding and employee value proposition across HQ, tech, marketing, logistics and retail.
  • Use data (engagement surveys, eNPS, turnover, performance, hiring funnels) to guide decisions and prioritization.

Lead & Develop the HR Organization

  • Lead and inspire a large international HR team (~100 HR professionals).
  • Set goals, KPIs and responsibilities, ensuring strong performance and development of key team members.
  • Foster collaboration across HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Comp&Ben, HR Operations and country HR teams.

  • Organization size: 3 000+ employees
  • HR team: ~100 people

Who Are We Looking For?

Experience

  • 10–15+ years in HR, with significant experience in senior or leadership roles (HR Director, Head of HR, HRBP Lead, etc.)
  • Experience from fast-moving, scaling environments such as e-commerce, retail, logistics/fulfillment, FMCG or tech/scale-up.
  • Proven success in building and executing HR strategies that supported business growth.
  • Strong background in organizational design, transformation and change management.
  • Experience leading senior HR professionals and working as part of an executive leadership team.

Skills & Mindset

  • Strong business partner mindset – HR as a driver of business impact, not just support.
  • Strategic thinker able to navigate complexity, prioritize and make decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build high-performing teams, develop talent and manage succession.
  • High integrity, transparency, results orientation and a hands-on approach when needed.
  • Fluent English & Czech/Slovak
