Position Description

Store Trainer

At Notino, learning and development are an important part of creating great customer experiences. As a Store Trainer, you will support the growth of our Beauty Consultants by sharing knowledge, developing skills, and creating a positive learning environment within the store. 😊

You will play an important role in onboarding new team members, improving product and process knowledge, and supporting the team in achieving excellent customer service and business results.

What will you do?

  • Act as a Store Trainer (80%) while also supporting customers as a Beauty Consultant (20%).
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and Area Retail Trainer as a training partner.
  • Deliver and facilitate different types of training, including one-to-one sessions, group workshops, meetings, and in-store learning activities.
  • Maintain training records and track team members’ development progress.
  • Support Beauty Consultants in improving sales techniques, product recommendations, and customer interactions.
  • Observe customer interactions and provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify individual and team training needs and suggest effective solutions.
  • Support the team in achieving KPIs and business goals through continuous development.

Main responsibilities

  • Conduct onboarding training sessions for new Beauty Consultants, including product knowledge and store processes.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, tools, and activities that improve store operations.
  • Contribute to achieving store results, including KPIs and individual goals.
  • Create, update, and follow the store training calendar.
  • Promote a culture of learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • At least 1 year of experience in retail and sales, ideally with experience in a retail store environment.
  • Previous experience with training, coaching, onboarding, or developing team members is an advantage.
  • Good command of German (B2 level).
  • Good command of English (B1 level).
  • Interest in beauty products, brands, and creating engaging product stories.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge in practice.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt your training approach to different audiences.
  • Proactive approach and interest in continuous personal and professional development.
