    HR Country Manager for Poland

    We are looking for an experienced HR Country Manager who will take ownership of HR across Poland and become a trusted partner to our leadership team in the Headquarter in Czech Republic. This is a broad HR leadership role combining strategic partnering with hands-on ownership of local HR operations, employment law, employee relations and the implementation of our global People agenda.

    What will you do?

    • Take overall responsibility for the quality, compliance and effectiveness of HR delivery across our Polish entities. From the business perspective, Notino’s entities in Poland include warehouse and logistics activities as well as retail business.
    • Partner with local leadership and act as a trusted HR advisor to senior leaders and managers, supporting them with organizational changes, employee relations, performance, people decisions and other sensitive HR topics.
    • Lead the local HR team, set direction and priorities, develop the team and make sure different HR activities work together as one effective service.
    • Implement and localize global HR policies, processes and programs, making sure they are relevant and compliant with Polish legislation and business needs.
    • Stay on top of Polish labour law, employment practices, labour-market developments and emerging HR risks, and translate them into practical recommendations for the business.
    • Develop and implement local recruitment strategy, ensuring the timely delivery of the required workforce in line with business needs and staffing plans. Manages relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition partners.
    • Oversee organizational structures, job descriptions and key HR documentation in cooperation with local leadership.
    • Plan and monitor HR costs and ensure they are aligned with business priorities.

    Who are we looking for?

    • Strong practical knowledge of Polish labour law, employee relations and HR compliance.
    • Experienced HR professional who can comfortably move between business partnering, people leadership and HR operations.
    • Experience advising and influencing senior business leaders.
    • Previous experience leading and developing an HR team.
    • Experience working in an international or matrix organization and implementing global or regional HR policies locally.
    • Practical experience in logistics, retail, e-commerce business is of advantage.
    • A strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and the ability to oversee HR delivery across multiple areas and stakeholders.
    • Experience with organizational change, restructuring, employee relations or other sensitive people topics.
    • The ability to look at HR from both a local and a global perspective – understanding when a global standard should be followed and when the local context requires adaptation.
    • Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills. You are comfortable challenging constructively when needed and influencing decisions without relying on formal authority.
    • A pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
    • Fluent Polish and English – you will work closely with both local colleagues and our international HR organization.
    • Most importantly, you take ownership. You don't wait for HR topics to solve themselves – you understand the business, identify risks and opportunities, and turn them into practical solutions.
